So after 6 months of being engaged, waiting, and planning for the big day.... it finally came. It was beautiful and I couldn't be more happy for my brother and his new wife! It was such a cool experience, we've never gone to wedding before because we are some of the oldest on both sides of the family. I loveeeeeed being at the temple, waiting for them to come out. It makes me even more excited to get married..... I want to be as happy as the bride and groom were yesterday!! :)
They got married at the Draper Temple...... they couldn't have picked a more WINDY freezing cold day. It was pretty miserable standing outside waiting and taking pictures. Then and there is when I decided that I am having a SUMMER wedding for sure!!
After the wedding Mom took us sisters, Jason and Dolan out to lunch.... I don't know, there was just something about that day that just put me in a mood. I was out of control and could not stop laughing.... especially at lunch! It was so much fun :)
The reception was at Snow Basin Ski Lodge..... It was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!!! Of course Emily and I were partners in crime ;) haha just kidding but we did have a lot of fun adventures up there.
I was really surprised at their turn out...... I didn't think many people would want to make that drive. But there was a lot of people that came to support them!
I think the highlight of their wedding was having Joey's best friend be able to come! Jason is in the marines and wasn't sure he was going to be able to get time off to come to the wedding. But he did and it was SO good to see him.
This was NO surprise at all that they didn't want A SINGLE thing done to their car....they didn't want this huge crazy goodbye.... no rice, none of that! At least we got to do bubbles!!! I'm so excited for my brother. I can not believe that he is a married man though..... it's just kinda weird to think about. Now it's my turn ;) I just gotta find that perfect man!!! :)
