two thousand and elven had it’s ups and downs, it’s good and it’s bad moments but now that another year has flown by looking back on 2011 I wouldn’t change anything. The challenges and experiences have made me who I am now, January 1, 2012.
Looking back, these are a few of my favorite memories of this past year.
January
I was able to attend one of the many “So You Think You Can Dance” dance conventions held here in Utah with some of the younger girls from the studio. There are so many talented, amazing dancers out there and we all share the same love and passion for dance.
can’t forget the start of spring semester at SLCC, blah. (not a fan of school)
I celebrated my 20th birthday in California with these lovely peeps.
I got those good old wisdom teeth taken out, and don’t even worry I was awake for the whole gosh darn thing. Loratab was my best friend. . . . I’m just glad that my cheeks didn’t get all big and swollen.
We also went to the Festival of Colors for the first time this year with only the most fun people you could ever go with.
oh! and these two love birds finally got hitched March 2011
April
We spent a very (and I mean VERY) much needed vacation in St. George, of course it was for our annual Dance Competition at Dixie State. But this year we spent quite a few more days down there.
And Em and I flew with Jason for the first time. . . don't even worry, I was sick the entire time and almost barfed all over everyone.
Was the beginning of an amazing summer and we celebrated the kajillion June birthdays that we have in this family.
We had another Moultrie Family Reunion, but this year it was held in California. While we were there, we FINALLY went to Sea World. Seriously, it was the.best.day.of.my.life.
I broke my tail bone. . . . of course goofing off. Went to the Lupe Fiasco concert and were no longer considered Caucasian.
Found the most entertaining boys to hang out with, and had “Themed” parties every weekend. Had one of the BEST halloween in years, went to “The Howl” for the first time and to many other Halloween Parties.
Thanksgiving this year was amazing, spent time with the fam and close friends. aaand it’s been a year since i moved home from Nebraska.
December came and went. But Christmas and New Years this year was absolutely amazing, I just couldn’t be happier.
I’m sad that this year is over but I’m so excited for this coming year and for what it has in store for me. Happy New Year!!!!
