Surprise!!!

So remember when I said that the Hawkes were going back to Utah for a baby blessing???

Well I decided to tag along.... but make it a surprise for my family!! The only one I told was my Mom--- Seriously, it was the hardest thing to keep secret. But i'm so glad I did! It made the weekend SO much better.

Mom, Cassie and Aj picked me up from the air port.... I seriously had to go to the bathroom so bad, so before we went home we made a pit stop to Grandma Mckee's house!! They were both so surprised to see me. Grandma even made me sit and watch one of her favorite videos on the computer ;) I about peed my pants. Anyways, When we got home, I walked through the front door and the girls were there in the front room sitting on the couch!

If you were in the house you probably would have lost your hearing.. we were all screaming! I wish you guys could have seen their faces and reactions!

So we visited with eachother for a while, it was so much fun we were all crazy hyper the entire weekend but especially that night. I have been craving Keva Juice so we all went to get a Keva!! Mmmm so yummy :) and of course we had to take an adventure to Walmart, duh. Then we went and Visited a few peeps. My friends Spencer and Casey came to see me for a bit.. I freaking love them!! We were all cuddled up in the front seats of Spencer's car and just sat and talked for a while... believe it or not it was extremely comfortable. Ask Rachel how it looked!? haha

Beav and Dereck were here until like 2:30 in the morning!! it was a blast!!! The sister's and I attempted watching 'The Ring' but got too tired and went to bed.

It was probably the best surprise anyone could ever get, right fam???

Anyways.. I loved this visit because I didn't tell very many people I was in town. I only saw my close, best friends and the family the whole weekend. I really enjoyed it.

And to think.... in 2 weeks from today--My Mom & sisters will be here in Nebraska!!! Partying, seeing NeBraskA (hick voice) and picking me up:)

Saturday I woke up at nine... i felt like I had slept in because of course, it was 10:00 a.m. to me! ;) so I woke the girls up to get going on the fun for the day!! We spent all morning and afternoon dying mine and Emily's hair! WOW such a long process..... especially Emily's LONG, beautiful, thick hair. Then we took a trip to theeee gateway for some shopping! :)

I have been craving chinese food.... BAD! So Saturday night, Mom ordered China Platter!! :) seriously, the best chinese food in the world! Thanks Mom!!!!


Then that night we went on a group date to get ice cream at sub zero---AMAZING by the way. and watched a movie!! Jess tagged along.. it was so fun.


--Although, all of Saturday and Sunday I was sick with a sore throat and a cold!!I'm thinking it was from staying outside until 3 am the night before... not such a good idea!

Our Adventure... I seriously have missed the Mountains SO much!! I didn't think that i would miss them as much as do. So it was mandatory to take a little adventure up the canyon and that's exactly what we did.

On our adventure, of course we had to stop at our spot on the blvd.... awhhh such good memories there. :)

Sunday was such a nice day.. Went to church, hung out with the fam, went on an adventure with the sisters, saw my freaking best friend Spencer Palmer, had a chat with Em& Steph, Turkey Steaks for dinner !! It's was just freaking awesome! These are pictures from my adventures:)

Sunday night, we celebrated Joey's birthday with the Mckee's! It was fun to see that side of the family...Nobody recognized me (especially with my new dark hair) and others were really confused to see me home! But it was a fun party. Afterwards, we had a coloring party, went on an adventure to Zackary's, jumped in the leaves, took silly pictures in the front yard and just hung out. Later that night all of us went up to my friend Casey's house to go hot tubbing!! It was SO much fun..... I have been wanting to go the entire time i've been out here! finally got to do it. :)

So Beav has been one of my closest friends all through high school, we haven't really hung out much after graduating but even when we do it's like we never stopped. He is definitely considered a 'brother' in my family. He is one of the few close friends that I saw this whole visit. He came and saw me Friday night, and Saturday he came with the sister's and I shopping.... Then my last night Beav, Dereck and Spencer came and hung out for a while. It was a good time for sure. It was nice being able to see them.

So after celebrating Joey's birthday with the Mckee's, hanging out with the boys, jumping in leaves with Emily, and Hot Tubbing at Casey's.. "the sisters" (a.k.a Rachel & Emily) and I stayed up for a bit and had some chats.... but really we were just EXTREMELY hyper. I don't think we stopped laughing.

Those were just a few of the Many MANY things that kept us up way past our bed time.

So before I actually got to Utah I thought: oh it's going to be easy to go back to Nebraska this time because it's a short visit... But nope! It was just as hard as the last two times. I really enjoyed my visit, especially this time. I spent time with only a few close friends and mostly my family, which at this time was extrememly needed and it was freaking awesome.
