Funny story.... So yesterday while grocery shopping, we are standing in front of all the cake mixes, etc and Kelli says to me; "Sarah, will you make me brownies tomorrow?" I thought it was kind of funny coming from Kelli.
-- Those of you that don't know Kelli she DOES in fact have a sense of humor and she is definitely not as shy/quiet as she seems. (It's a good thing, no worries Kelli) Anyways.... Let me explain more in detail this comment. Kelli wasn't just being bossy-- She was planning on making dinner tonight for a family that she worked with and wanted dessert to go along with the dinner, but wanted me to make them so they were ready when she got home from work! I just thought it was kind of funny, it through me off guard at first.
So guess what Ali and I did today??? We made brownies, while Jaxson pulled out all the cookie cutters and made a mess in the kitchen ;) Ali is so cute. She loves cooking and likes to help in every way possible. She's such a good little helper.
I have been craving so many things lately that we don't have here in Nebraska... Cafe Rio, Keva, Great Harvest, Arella and many other places. Texas Roadhouse Rolls, Chinese food!! ahh I could go on. Good thing I am coming home soon, right?
Getting a little spiritual..... I love the light, feeling and spirit that you feel when little kids are around the gospel. Today Ali and Jaxson were playing in their room, Ali turned on her primary cd and started listening and singing along. The entire time the cd was playing both of the kids were happy, smiling, peaceful and I could totally feel the spirit!! As soon as the cd stopped playing Jaxson got fussy and Ali had a random mental breakdown. I just loved seeing that! Maybe I should play these songs more often????
